A new edition of “The Fontana Herald News Sports and Entertainment Show” is airing on KFON Channel 3 in Fontana. The 30-minute program airs on Tuesdays at 4 p.m. and Thursdays and Fridays at 5:30 p.m.

Police kill Discovery Channel gunman, hostages safe
U.S. police shot and killed a man who took three people hostage, waving a gun and apparently fitted out with explosives, in the headquarters of the Discovery Channel near Washington on Wednesday.
